ARTICLE VIII

RESIGNATIONS AND FILLING VACANCIES

1. Resignations. Any director, officer, committee chair, or committee member may resign at any time by giving notice of their resignation in writing to the president or the secretary of the board of directors. Any resignation shall be effective upon receipt, without the necessity of acceptance.
2. Vacancies. If a vacancy in an office or position shall exist, whether by resignation, incapacity or death, in any position provided herein, a two-third's majority of the board of directors then in office, may appoint any qualified person to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term or until his or her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
